Spreadsheets and charts used during an internal control review

Engagement

Internal control review

A focused review of selected financial processes to identify control gaps before year-end or a lender review.

Who this is for

Owners and controllers who want an independent look at purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, or payroll controls without commissioning a full statutory audit.

What you receive

A written observation memo ranked by severity, with practical remediation steps your staff can implement before the next reporting cycle.

  • Scoping workshop to pick two or three process areas
  • Documented walkthroughs and sample testing of key controls
  • Observation memo with severity ratings and owners
  • Optional follow-up retest after remediation

Outside the scope

  • Full ISAE or attestation opinions unless separately contracted
  • IT system implementation or software selection

How the work proceeds

We map the process with your process owners, test a sample of transactions, and draft observations for management review before finalizing the memo.

Timeline & location

Most reviews complete in three to five weeks.

On-site workshops at your Taiwan premises, with remote follow-up as needed.

Preparation

Process narratives, recent exception reports, and access to sample invoices or payroll runs for the periods under review.

Fees

Starting from NT$75,000 for a single-process review; multi-process scopes are quoted after the workshop.
